Sandra Self

Sandra Kay Self, age 63 of Belton, passed from this life on Thursday, October 29, 2020. There will be a graveside service for her at Moffat Cemetery in Moody on Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 2 pm.

Sandra was born on October 17, 1957 to Darvin Maurice and Frieda Lee Self in Sweetwater, Texas. She was a graduate of Sweetwater High School and Austin Community College. During her working years, she was employed by Texas Instruments and IBM. She loved to fish and garden. She was most happy when she was able to take her many nieces and nephews on field trips to many exciting places in Texas.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frieda Self.

Those left to cherish her memories are her son, John Self; brother, Kenneth Self of Belton; brother, Mark Self of Belton; sister, Carol Hyde of Ballston Spa, N.Y.; sister, Patti Self of Pflugerville; nieces, Jessica Hyde; Laura Self; and Michelle Self; nephews, Jeff Self; Joshua Hyde; and Vance Self; great-nieces and nephews, Jaden Jones; Wade Twomey; and Cole Self.

A time of visitation will be held from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
