Setsuko Smith

Services for Setsuko Mitch Warehime Smith, 75, of Temple will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 23, at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton. Dr. Leroy Kemp will be officiating.

Mrs. Smith passed away Thursday, December 20 at a local hospital.

Setsuko was born on June 19, 1937 in Okinawa, Japan. She has lived in the Temple area for 40 years and was a tavern owner.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her son, Mark Warehime.

Survivors include four sons James and wife Karen Warehime of Weir, Leslie Dean Warehime of Moffat, David and wife Cindy Warehime of Belton, and Lloyd and wife Terry Warehime of Waco three sisters, Toyoko, Toshiko and Miko, all of Japan 17 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors on Saturday, December 22, from 4:006:00 p.m. at Heartfield Funeral Home.
