Shirley Connell

At 7:42pm on July 3, 2018, Shirley Connell went to be with her maker. She was born January 14, 1939 to two loving parents, John H. Cast and Fay Dean Cast of Belton, Texas, who both preceded her in death and welcomed her with open arms. Her husband, soulmate of 51 years, Lawrence "Dan" Connell also swept his bride up in his arms upon her arrival. Her brother, John H. Cast, also met her at the gates.
Shirley is survived by Dale Cast, her brother of Dallas, Texas; two granddaughters, Crystal Simecek and Heather Connell both of Temple; two amazing great-grandsons, Kurt and Aiden Simecek; and her only son, Joey Connell who will forever and ever miss her laugh, her guidance, her voice, her stubbornness and most of all her love. You were the best mom a man could have ever been blessed with. Rest in Peace mom, until we meet again, I love you.
