Services are scheduled Stanley Leon Willhoite, 77, of Temple, will be held at 1:00 pm Friday at the First Church of Harker Heights with Rev. Robert Hendrick officiating. Interment will follow at Bellwood Memorial Park.brbrStanley born at Morris, Oklahoma to the late Clarence and Nola Ross Willhoite July 19, 1936. He married the love of his life, Barbara Wilkerson, on May 29, 1953 in Dennison, Texas because they were too young to be married in Oklahoma City where they resided.brbrHe went home to be with his Lord on Wednesday afternoon.brbrHe was a greatest husband, dad and grandfather that anyone has ever known. He was a faithful man of God and served as a lay minister, son leader and Sunday school director for many years in various United Pentecostal Churches, He loved to sing and could whistle any song he heard. He was talented in many areas, but especially in loving his family.brbrHe was preceded in death by a son, Terry Dale Willhoite in 1986.brbrSurvivors include his wife of 60 years, Barbara Willhoite of Temple; a daughter, Vicki Tolleson and husband, Tom of Arlington, TX; a son, Stanley Kevin Willhoite and wife Val of Temple; sister. Evelyn Wise of Oklahoma City; five grandchildren, Richard Willhoite of Houston, Shawn Willhoite, Shannon Willhoite, Morgan Willhoite, Chaden Tolleson all of Temple; great grandchildren, Kieley Willhoite, Sophia Willhoite, Bentley Willhoite and Avarie Willhoite all of Temple; three nieces, Regina Aldridge, Robbye Hadlock and Pam Butler.brbrThe family will receive friend from 6 -8 pm Thursday at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.brbr
