Susanna Morton

Services for Susanna Morton, 88, of Harker Heights will be held at 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at Heartfield Funeral Home with Rev. Brian West officiating. Private interment will be Monday at North Belton Cemetery.

Mrs. Morton passed away Wednesday, November 14, at a local hospital.

Susanna was born in Koln, Germany on August 17, 1924 to Gertrud Fehs Cichuttek and Viktor Joseph Cichuttek. Susanna had 11 brothers and sisters. She and her identical twin sister, Katherine, were the middle children. Susanna attended school in Koln, Germany. She married Harold Eugene Morton in Giessen, Germany and moved to Belton in 1960. Susanna was a homemaker and did volunteer work for the Belton Family Welfare for 30 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Little River.

Susanna was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Morton two sons, Harold Morton and Jimmy Dale Morton and one daughter, Barbara Morton Kinsey.

Survivors include one daughter, Brigitte Minica and husband Tony of Belton one son, Henry Morton of Belton two brothers, Viktor Willheim Cichuttek and Helmut Cichuttek, both of Canada one sister, Agnes Winkler of Germany 9 grandchildren and 14 greatgrandchildren.

The family will receive visitors from 4:006:00 pm on Saturday, November 17 at Heartfield Funeral Home in Belton.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Little River.
