Graveside services for Taunya L. Wills, 70, of Belton will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen with Bro. Billy Johnson officiating. She passed away on Friday, October 19, 2018 at her home.
She was born September 30, 1948 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Martin and Loree Lunt. She graduated from Hastings (Michigan) High School in 1966. She was a Baptist and attended Heritage Country Church in Salado. Taunya married Rudolph "Bud" Wills on May 3, 1974 in Hastings, Michigan. She was a supportive military wife and always had a loving home for her family and friends. She was a member of several military wives clubs and would often prepare home cooked meals for soldiers that were away from their families during the holidays. Taunya was part-owner and operator of Spices Bakery and Deli in Belton from 1995-1998, she then worked at HEB from 2000-2008. Though she enjoyed working outside of the home she was most dedicated to and proud of being a homemaker, wife and mother. She supported her children, Marty and Christie, as team mom and PTA member. She enjoyed shopping, gardening and decorating her home. Taunya loved her family and cherished any time they spent together. She made everyone feel special and as though they were her favorite. She will be remembered as a loving wife and mother, beloved grandmother and cherished sister and aunt. She has left a legacy of love for her family and will be dearly missed by all who loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bud Wills, on August 9, 2018 and her parents, Martin and Loree Lunt.
She is survived by her son, Martin Wills and wife Danielle; a daughter, Christie Pratt and husband Jason; her beloved grandsons, Jaden, Chandler, Ryan and Cody. She is also survived by her sister, Wendy Frary and husband Mark and nephews, Markie, Justin and Jacob.

The family will receive visitors from 6-8 pm on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
