Tony E Brinegar, 44, of Belton passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on Saturday, April 16, 2016. He fought a long and courageous battle with a head injury from a car accident in December 1995 which left him in a coma until his death.
Tony was born on February 11, 1972 in Killeen Texas. He was raised in Belton for most of his life. Tony worked in construction in many different states.
Tony was a friend to all and would give you the shirt off his back. If someone asked him for help he would say "what do you need?."
Tony was known as a lady's man. He loved to dance and was a regular at Cody's. He also loved horseback riding and riding bulls at Toro Town and Johnny Boren's. He enjoyed participating in Civil War reenactments. Many of you may not know this but Tony was a movie star. He once traveled to New Mexico to be in the movie "Miracle in the Wilderness" with Kris Kristofferson.
Tony traveled to many places and met many people from Alaska, Canada, Australia, England and many more countries. It was said that he could get people from all over the world to pray together at the same time.
His survivors include his parents, Gary and Aida Brinegar; God Parents, Butch and Trish Reding; two sisters, Sandy Brinegar-Moffatt and Kristy Brinegar; five nieces and nephews, Jesse Brinegar, Josse Moffatt, Max Moffatt, Tony Foster and Aaliyah Foster, all of Belton.
Tony will be missed by all who knew and loved him. We ask that you remember him for his smile and loving ways.
