Trenton Carl Urbantke

Trenton Urbantke, age 60 of Holland, passed from this life Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton with a visitation starting at 12:30 pm and service immediately following at 1 pm.

Trenton was born on November 19, 1964, to Daniel and Lucy K. Urbantke in Temple, Texas. He graduated with the Class of 1983 at Moody High School and worked for Baylor Scott & White’s I. T. Department until retirement. Trenton lived a quiet life in Holland for over 25 years. He enjoyed spending time with his son, Bryceton, just hanging out and watching movies. He loved his three little schnauzers, Widow, Thor and Eins, they were his babies and constant companions. After 30 years of loyal employment with Scott & White, Trenton spent his time building custom RC cars and enjoying his retirement. Trenton was a muscle car enthusiast. He loved them all, old and new, and even owned a few over the years himself. He was an avid collector of NASCAR memorabilia, especially Jeff Gordan. Trenton had a sense of humor all to himself and he could make you laugh until you were in tears. He was a man of few words, and a man you could count on. He will be greatly missed.

Trenton is preceded by his parents, Daniel and Lucy K. Urbantke; and brother, Joel Urbantke.

Survivors include his son, Bryceton Trent Urbantke; brother, Mikel Urbantke and wife, Diane; sisters, Tammy Urbantke, and Linda Carey and husband, Jared; nephews, Jason Vaughan, Esten Urbantke, and Micah Urbantke; niece, Lori Beth Fergueson and husband, Brandon; and his beloved schnauzers, Widow, Thor and Eins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Friends of the Bell County Animal Shelter, PO Box 2173, Belton, TX, 76513 to help animals in need which was a cause close to Trenton’s heart.
