Virginia Bancroft

Virginia Mae Bancroft, 84, of Belton passed away on August 5, 2013. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 from 5 8 p.m. in the Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel. A service will be held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 10:00 in the Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Belton. Pastor LeRoy Kemp will be officiating.
Virginia was born to Everett and Edna Shelton Cook in Bayard, IA on November 26, 1928.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Belton. Of the jobs she held her favorite was that of day care director at Mary Hardin Baylor. She very much enjoyed watching the birds at her bird feeders.
Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Howard Bancroft in 1991.
Survivors include her son Howard Wayne Bancroft and wife Carol daughter Linda Williams and husband Larry 7 granddaughters, 3 grandsons and numerous greatgrandchildren.
