Woody Vannatta

Services for Woody Wilson Vannatta, 68, of Belton are set for 2:00 pm Thursday at Heartfield Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Mahan officiating.

Woody was born on January 5, 1945 at Temple to the late Woodrow Wilson and Helen Haluza Vannatta. He worked for Texas Power and Light for 21 years, Flowers Construction for 15 years and was a firefighter for the Gatesville Fire Department.

Woody died Saturday evening at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Judy Vannatta and a sister Malissa Trout.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Tory and Tiffanie Vannatta and Brent and Myca Vannatta a stepson, Tony Mahan three grandchildren, Chris Fix, Jessalynn Vannatta and Fisher Vannatta.
