Acie Ross

Acie Gilbert Ross, age 76 of Temple, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White in Temple. Services will be June 7, 2021 at 2 PM in North Belton Cemetery with Pastor Richard Gatto officiating.

Ace was born in Dayton, Ohio, October 26, 1944 to Harland Acie Ross and Roxie Ann Ross. He grew up in Otway and Rarden, Ohio. He married Billie Fay (Reed) Ross on September 23, 1967. He retired from Alcoa, Rockdale, Texas in 2002 after thirty-three years. He loved to do wood working, target shooting, entertain with friends and family, outdoors activities and travel to different places. He was a member of Academy Baptist Church. He served in the Vietnam War and was a member of the VFW.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harland Acie Ross; and nephew, Fred Allen Rush.

He is survived by his wife, Billie Fay Ross; daughter, Tangie Perkins and husband, Danny Perkins; son, Keith Ross and wife, Melissa Ross; five grandchildren, McKenzie Perkins, Marissa Heffley, Courtney Fesmire and husband, Tristan, Corey Fournier, and Matthew Perkins; two great grandsons, Adam Fournier and Caleb Fournier; his mother, Roxie Ann Ross of Otway, Ohio; sister, Shirley Miller; five nieces; and seven nephews.
