Carolyn Kirk

Carolyn Ann Kirk, age 81 of Belton, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022. Graveside services will be held at 11 am Wednesday, March 23, 2022, at North Belton Cemetery with Bobby Johnson officiating.

Carolyn was born on April 5, 1940, to Wes and Eva Coppin in Belton, Texas. She spent her early years working with her parents at the “Hamburger King” in downtown Belton. After high school, she met the love of her life, Bobby Don Kirk. She began working for Bell County and became the first woman Justice of the Peace. She spent the past 20 years in retirement, shopping on QVC and spoiling her extended family.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, Wes and Eva Coppin.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby Don Kirk.

A time of visitation will be held from 6 - 7:30 pm Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
