Daniel Gomez

Daniel Gomez, age 67 of Temple, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Memorial services will be held at 2 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.

Daniel was born on August 29, 1954 to Frank E. Gomez, Sr. and Carmen (Lopez) Gomez in Temple, Texas. He loved gardening and taking care of his plants.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Carmen; brother, Frank E. Gomez, Jr.; and grandson, Darrell W. Solomon, Jr.

He is survived by his brother, Joe John Gomez; daughter, Anna Gomez; grandchildren, Darrell Solomon III, Trevonne Solomon, Asia Sanders, Anthony Sanders, and Fernandez Sanders II.

In lieu of flowers and because Daniel loved all kinds of plants, please send plants rather than cut flowers to be enjoyed for years to come.

The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the Baylor Scott and White nurses and CNAs for taking such good care of Daniel and for making sure his cross-over was comfortable and painless. Also, thank you to friends and family that have reached out to give their love and support through this difficult time.
