Dolly "Memaw" Davis

Dolly Faye Davis, 76 of Troy, passed from this life on Thursday, October 28, 2021, at Baylor Scott & White hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10 am Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton. Burial will be in North Belton Cemetery.

Dolly was born on July 30, 1945, to James and Viola King in Belton, Texas. She was married to James Pierce for 20 years and Homer Davis for 25 years. Dolly was a dedicated grandmother and will be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Dolly was preceded in death by her parents; both of her beloved husbands; her sister, Momma Lue Morgan; son, James J. Pierce; daughter, Donna Pierce and grandson, James Albert Davis.

Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her brother, EJ King of Belton; sister, Geraldine Reagan of Temple; daughter, Brooksie “B” Aubin of Many, L.A.; granddaughter, Jaime Anderson of Troy; granddaughter, Petrina Weller of Schertz; granddaughter, Teresa Nunno of Troy; granddaughter, Shatona Davis of Troy; grandson, Eric Davis of Austin; and 9 great grandchildren.

The family wishes to express a heartfelt thank you to officiant, Chris Cannon.

A time of visitation will be held from 5-7 pm Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at the funeral home.
