Jo Ann Bilbrey

Ms. Jo Ann Clark Bilbrey, 83 of Temple, passed away Tuesday, December 10, 2019.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton with Minister H.K. Ballard officiating.  Burial will follow at McDowell Cemetery.

Jo Ann was born January 6, 1936 to George and Lizzie (Barker) Clark in Waco, Texas.  She was a very loving mother and grandmother.  She loved to cross stitch, watch soap operas, doing word finds and crosswords, and going to garage and estate sales.  She was a very funny and caring person, the sweetest person that you would have known.  She loved spending time with her family and babysitting her grandkids.

Jo Ann is preceded in death by her parents, George and Lizzie Clark; husband, Robert J. Bilbrey; three sisters, Juanita Carver, Janie Schneider, and Mary Collier.

Those left to honor and cherish her memories are her son, Robert Bilbrey and wife Claudia; daughter, Robin Stebbins and husband Don; four grandchildren, Brandy Allison, Thomas Bilbrey, Andrea Bilbrey, and Derek Bilbrey Ayma; numerous nephews and nieces; and many other family and friends are also left to cherish her memories.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to the Alzheimer’s Association 225 N. Michigan Ave. Fl. 17 Chicago, IL 60601.

The family would also like to give a special thank you to Interim Hospice for making her last days as comfortable as possible.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2019 from 6:00-8:00 pm at Harper-Talasek Funeral Home in Belton.
